Theresa Gear (TG): My remit was to deliver a business improvement programme across Gattaca PLC supporting operational best practice, a culture of continuous improvement and learning in order to deliver overall strategic objectives. This programme involves working to support our clients, contractors & our people; taking ownership to process design, implement & execute as well as review processes & tools seeking continuous improvement. This to date has involved applying lean process techniques to improve efficiencies and quality to deliver best-in-class regulatory and operational processes.
Integral to my role is working across the group building good relationships with a diverse set of stakeholders across the Gattaca group of companies to support on local projects which will enable us to collectively be more successful.

These included the creation & set up of their central delivery function supporting key clients & working as part of the strategic account’s function supporting MSP clients.
In the last few years, I was lucky enough to work on a number of strategic projects such as the creation & running of their Mid Office – a function dedicated to a right first-time approach as well as leading from the front in the growth of our Offshore teams through expanding our Mid Office in two locations in India. Other strategic initiatives included driving efficiencies through converting the business to online timesheets & supporting on the simplification of UK entities.
The variety in roles gave me great exposure to challenges facing a sales business and I love finding solutions or a streamlined way of working – that’s meant I have continued my journey down the path of continuous improvement…All the way to Gattaca Solutions!
