Alan Withers MCIPS joins Gattaca Solutions as Director of Services Procurement
Alan Withers has joined Gattaca Solutions as part of the group’s increasing investment in its Services Procurement Outsourcing (SPO) programme offering.
With his experience as a chartered Senior Procurement Manager covering labour and professional services, Alan brings a wealth of experience in Statement of Work (SoW), services procurement & supplier management across the engineering, technology and infrastructure space.
In his previous role at Telent, Alan spotted a need to bring unmanaged services tailspend cost and risk under control. Alan pioneered the procurement, development and management of a purpose-built outsourced MSP and SPO programme, leveraging industry SoW spend management systems and an outsourced team to manage process, cost and risk across the business. His programme resulted in multi-million pound annual savings, improved supplier engagement & increased project delivery efficiencies across Telent’s services procurement
